Mother-Toddler

Union Church of Hinsdale's Early Childhood Programs (ECP)Program Description

This program provides a shared experience for mother and toddler and a chance for each to interact with their own peer groups.  Toddlers develop basic trust while dealing with separation in a positive way.  A group facilitator leads the mothers’ group discussions on topics such as parenting techniques, behavioral issues, health and family.

Group Size and Teacher to Child Ratio

The Union Church Early Childhood Programs are licensed by the State of Illinois and are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.  This means that we follow the group size and teacher to adult ratios that are recommended/mandated by these organizations.   There is a teacher to child ration of 10 children with 2 teachers.
